Regeneration of Brampton helping to grow a garden to Feed the hungry

This what I was doing this morning, in conjunction with Regeneration in Brampton, helping to create a garden to help feed the hungry, the homeless and families that are struggling to make ends meet. Planting strawberries, squash, and rhubarb, all in a days work.  It was hot, and the work strenuous, and dirty, but very fulfilling. Worth every effort.  el

Below are pictures from this morning, and yes I worked to, and not just taking pictures.

Watering the new plants

hoeing a trench to build a mound

Even the Kids lend a hand on this hot day.

It always makes you feel good when you put an effort in lending a hand for the less fortunate.
