Raptors Live @ Garden Square

It was cold, bitterly cold for that matter, and the wind was what made it worst. For the brave souls who shunned the late November, I mean May weather, witnessed history in the making as The Raptors extinguished The Heat in stunning fashion 116 - 89, to advance to the Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history. The seats were filled, coffee and tea were drunk in any kind of effort to stay warm. The atmosphere was electric, and after the game cars drove by honking their horns waving Raptor flags.

Now to The Conference Finals with a date to meet the highly favoured Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Raptors did play well against them during the season so the upcoming series should be a good one. The Cavaliers better not think this one is in the bag, because the Raptors are likely to take a big bite out of the Cavaliers hopes.

The first game of The Eastern Conference Finals goes Tuesday night in Cleveland, game time is at 8:00 pm

Hope to see you down at Garden Square for some fireworks compliments of the Toronto Raptors, and no not there will be no real fireworks.

Bring your lawn chair, and let's hope it warms up more and it should but just in case throw in a thermos of coffee or tea, grab some snacks, also do not forget Starbucks is there, as well as Subway across the street, T By Daniels is always great, so lots to keep you fed and quench your thirst while you are there. The Rose Theatre also has a DJ on hand to play tunes to keep everyone pumped.

Bring on the Cavaliers and hope the Raptors can turn them into Caviar.
