Andre De Grasse is the first male athlete to win a medal for Canada. Andre took home the bronze medal in the 100 metre men's dash with a time of 9.91

It also keeps the daily streak of medals for Canada, as they have won a medal each day of the Rio Summer Olympics. 

The Legendary Usain Bolt of Jamaica took home the Gold medal at a time of 9.81
