The Brampton Santa Claus Parade 2016 Part 2
The Brampton Santa Claus Parade
2016 Part 2
More from The Brampton Board of Trade Santas Claus Parade. The parade is so large and so many pictures to chose from, the task to choose of what goes into the blog is a major undertaking onto itself.
To begin with all the different floats and the organizations that put them together, the marching band, all the sideshow characters, and we hate to disclude someone on that bases.
Anyone who views this blog, that were in the parade and don't see a picture of themselves please drop a comment off and we will attempt to correct the omission, if the picture is available. There was so much happening at times that it was impossible to capture everything.
The purpose of this blog is to be inclusive to all groups.
What is always pleasing in any parade is to hear the marching bands play, and The Santa Claus Parade there is no shortage of pleasing sounds to get the heart into the spirit of the Christmas Season.
Clowns a plenty, are always a staple in parades, as the author recollects from Santa Claus Parades from a distant past, watching the clowns, especially the Upside down Clowns, were always a treat and melts a smile on the young faces.
Floats & Marching bands always the centerpiece to any parade. The floats nicely decorated and colourful. This float from Synergy is beautifully done and with Brampton City Hall's Christmas lights in the background adds more colour and splendour.
🎄
The Marching bands are soothing medicine to the ears. Below is Downbeat Percussion adding a heavy beat to the parade.
Taking the dogs for a walk, what a better way than in a parade. Many were on hand with Bituś Pet Service - K9 Aquafitness strolling along in costume.
Bituś Pet Service - K9 Aquafitness
Going to the Dogs K( Aquafitness was just one of many participants in this years parade, stunt cars, riding marching bands, and nicely lit floats that are pleasing to the eyes. That is the reason behind the two parts, there is so much to cover that there'se no shortage of content. And just like The Jack-N-the-Box, you you know what may be coming, but don't know when, or there is always a surprize. Stunt driver's on the left, pleased the many of the faithful that lined Main St. in front of City Hall. Assisted by the happy clown. One of the nicest locations to take pictures of the parade is right across City Hall, where you can capture the magnificent lights in the background. On this colourful occasion, it adds seasoning to the delicious flavour of colours. Below are more examples of floats and marching bands. Enjoy the following pictures from the parade.
And try to acquire the Christmas Spirit in the process.
Some of the Marching Bands were riding bands instead. saves the legs. The Shriners were also front and centre, first with the Go-Karts, then the Shriners Express Train. And along comes Snoopy
Snoopy & the rest of the Peanuts Gang

Christmas always warms the heart.
The anticipation always builds as to when Santa will arrive. Doesn't matter what year it is, it was the same thing for a young child growing up in the 1930's, 60's, or 2016, the wait can be endless.
Dear old Santa Claus
Thank you for taking the time to view some of the highlights in Part's 1 & 2 taken from The 2016 brampton Board of Trade Santa Claus Parade.
The parade is bigger than ever and there is so much to see. Look forward to seeing a video montage from the parade that will resemble something like a Christmas Card. There may even be another post with more pictures and sights and sounds from all the decorations in Brampton. So stay tuned.
