A Triple Play
@ Garden Square
What a night at Garden Square, a triple header that was a triple play for all the people who turned out for 2 great movies and then the Toronto Raptors vs Cleveland Cavaliers Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final. Garden Square was filled to the brim, with hardly a seat to be had and if you could find one, you kept it. The fountain was crowded, and people were sitting up at The Rose Theatre.

The Good Dinosaur |
Besides the movies and basketball, also available especially for the kids, their was a Ping Pong Table, and Blocks for the kids to build, or play a popular game called Jenga. Also available, compliments of Tim Horton's was free coffee and hot chocolate to satisfy the thirst. The 1st movie was "The Good Dinosaur" which thrilled the younger audience.
The 2nd, which was a great lead up to The Raptors game, was "Space Jam" starring Michael Jordan, the heir apparent to Lebron James. Plus many more NBA All Stars, and Hall of Famers.

Tim Horton;s keeping busy |
Through out the evening and into the night, Tim Hortons was doing a very brisk business throughout the entire night, and the ping pong table and blocks was kept busy as well. The Square looked very similar to when the Toronto Blue Jays were in the Playoffs last October. The Rose Theatre had a D.J. on hand to entertain the crowd in between Space Jam and The Raptors game.

Then came The Raptors game, and The Raptors did not disappoint the many who stayed around which was still very heavy. The Raptors stunned The Cleveland Cavaliers with a 99-84 victory to take Game 3 to close the gap with the Cavs leading 2 games to 1 Game 4 is on Monday from Toronto.

What an evening and night at Garden Square, it was definitely the place to be and the price was certainly right. Toronto has Jurasic Park, but here in Brampton we had our own version, and it was just as thrilling without the travel, the headaches, and the expense.

Raptors win Game 3 99 - 84 |
Great Night to be at Garden Square, and this is just the start, as Movies Under the Stars has kicked off. Just that The Raptors added a little more electricity to the Square.
Thank you Rose Theatre
