Derek Drouin wins 
Canada's 3rd Gold Medal

Derek captured the gold medal in the Men's High Jump competition this evening in Rio.
His winning jump was 2.38 metres.

This is Canada's 14th medal in these Rio Summer Olympics.

The 26 year old Derek is from Corunna Ontario, and is the reigning World Champion.

Congratulations  Derek from your friends in Brampton, a great job and we are extremely proud of your spectacular performance.
