A 4 Medal Day For Canada
1 Gold-1 Silver- & 2 Bronze





What a stellar day for Canada at The Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Today they accumulated 4 medals in total, which includes 2 bronze, 1 Silver, and 1 more Gold medal.

First it was Meaghan Benfeito who took home the bronze medal in the women's 10 metre diving. 
2nd medal was a golden moment as Eric Wiebe captured the Gold medal in Women's Wrestling.

The 3rd Medal was won by Damian Warner who grabbed the bronze medal in The Men's Decathlon.

And finally the Race that everyone was talking about all day, The Men's 200-metre which had the hihgly favoured Usain Bolt going against the young Canadian hopeful in Andre De Grasse.


De Grasse who already captured a bronze medal in the 100 metre race, tonight took home the /silver medal has Usain Bolt who is competing in his last Olympic Games recorded his 8th Gold medal

For De Grasse's 1st Olympics to win both a Silver & Bronze is a well deserved accomplishment to be proud of, and to only be beaten by a legend in Usain Bolt.
The future is bright for Andre De Grasse.
