New Address - 111 Main St, Brampton


On Saturday June 11 The City of Brampton was in a festive mood, in readiness for the Annual CeleBrampton and the downtown core was a buzz of activity, starting in the morning, and not to be missed was the Grand Re Opening of Perpetual Bazaar at 111 Main St. Originally the store was located at 21 Queen St. but decide to move over to Main, to take advantage of the heavy traffic flow generated by CeleBrampton and Saturday’s Farmer’s Market.

 Perpetual Bazaar has been operating in downtown Brampton for 43 years, and all their merchandise is hand knitted by seniors throughout the Region of Peel. Perpetual Bazaar is a non-profit organization that requires donations from the community, such as the shelving in the store was donated from councilor Pat Fortini, and the sign out front was donated from Mari Mac.

Come inside the store and you will be warmly greeted by Pat Harding and Unni Vorwerk and other volunteers who help keep the store running.

Fresh coffee and home baked goods were on hand for visitors and customers alike to enjoy and browse all the wonderful knitted pieces, from sweaters, to tea cozy’s, and also outfits for Barbie Dolls. What a beautiful store to shop, browse and check out all the wonderful things, especially if someone who is looking for that unique handmade gift idea for a birthday, anniversary, or for Christmas. Perpetual Bazaar will sure have something exceptional for that special person in their life.
